GenAI Policies

This journal adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation must strictly comply with the following guidelines:

  1. Authorship Eligibility and Attribution
  • AI and AI-assisted technologies cannot be listed as an author or co-author.
  • AI tools lack the legal capacity to take responsibility for the content, data authenticity, conflict of interest statements, or copyright agreements. Full accountability for the ethical integrity of the manuscript rests entirely with the human authors.
  1. Permissible Uses
  • The use of AI tools is strictly limited to improving language, grammar, spelling, style, and overall readability (language editing).
  • AI may be utilized to assist in data analysis or preliminary processing, provided that the underlying methodologies, prompts, and analytical parameters are fully disclosed and explained in the Methods section.
  1. Prohibited Uses
  • Authors are strictly prohibited from using AI to fabricate, falsify, or manipulate research data, graphs, images, or findings.
  • Using AI to generate fictitious literature reviews, references, or citations is strictly forbidden. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of all cited sources.
  1. Mandatory Disclosure StatementIf AI technologies were used during the preparation of the manuscript, authors must include a declaration statement at the end of the paper (preceding the References section) using the following template:

AI Usage Declaration: "During the preparation of this manuscript, the author(s) utilized [Name of AI Tool/System, e.g., ChatGPT-4 / Grammarly] to [purpose of use, e.g., refine language and improve text readability]. The author(s) have thoroughly reviewed, revised, and edited the generated output, and accept full responsibility for the content and integrity of the final manuscript."

If no AI tools were used in the preparation of the paper, this declaration is not required.

  1. Editorial and Peer Reviewer Ethics
  • Editors and Peer Reviewers are strictly prohibited from uploading submitted manuscripts into public or external AI tools and platforms. This restriction is enforced to protect the confidentiality and intellectual property rights of the authors' work.
